Artist creates statue of children in quarantine

In late May, photographs of quarantined children in Điện Biên Province wearing oversized protective suits evoked many emotions among Facebook users. Now they have inspired a Hà Nội-based artist to craft a statue in a project to contribute to the COVID-19 fund. Named “The Dien Bien Kid”, the statue is small in size but offers huge encouragement in time of need.
