HÀ NỘI — A photo contest featuring family happiness kicked off on Thursday in Hà Nội to celebrate Family Day (June 28).

The competition is open for professional and amateur photographers who are Vietnamese people including overseas and foreigners currently living in Việt Nam.

The photos capture moments in daily life of families, love between family members and living space of a family.

The winner will receive VNĐ10 million in cash and VNĐ10 million in gifts.

The photos can be sent to the Người Hà Nội (Hanoians) newspaper, 126 Nam Cao Street, Hà Nội, before November 28. The award ceremony and exhibition of excellent photos will take place in December.

Editor-in-chief Đào Xuân Hưng, head of the organising board, said the contest will help honour fine values of family and the role of happy families in modern society. — VNS
