ĐÀ NẴNG — A photo exhibition featuring 70 photos of bird species will open at the Furama Đà Nẵng resort in celebration of Việt Nam’s National Day from September 1-3.
The city’s Artistic Photographers Association said the exhibition will display a collection by photographer Ngô Minh Đức, who has spent four years snapping shots of 100 species of bird in Đà Nẵng.
The association said the exhibition depicts the beauty of nature and birds as well as the spirit of freedom and independence.
This is also the first time an individual photo exhibition on bird species has been held in the city, raising awareness on wildlife protection and illegal bird hunting.
Đức is a member of the Sông Hàn photographers club in Đà Nẵng.
All of his photo collections focus on nature, wildlife and landscapes.
The opening ceremony for the exhibition will start at 4.30pm on September 1 at 103-105 Võ Nguyên Giáp Street.
There are 284 bird species living in the Sơn Trà and Bà Nà-Núi Chúa nature reserves in Đà Nẵng, offering great chances for photographers nationwide to explore the beauty of birds. — VNS
