Visitors centre debut at new launched airport terminal

Đà Nẵng city’s tourism department launched visitor centre at Đà Nẵng International Airport’s new terminal on Tuesday.

ĐÀ NẴNG — Đà Nẵng city’s tourism department launched visitor centre at Đà Nẵng International Airport’s new terminal on Tuesday.

Vice director of the department’s tourism promotion centre, Nguyễn Thị Hoài An said the centre, the third of its kind in Đà Nẵng, will provide free information, brochures, maps and destinations for tourists at the airport.

The centre will serve the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Summit in Đà Nẵng from November 5 to 11.

The department also launched centres at 108 Bạch Đằng Street and at 32A Phan Đình Phùng Street to provide free tourism information.

The visitor centres also connect with agencies including tourism and traffic inspectors, police, market watch and emergency centre 115 for medical assistance and mobile police force 113 in dealing with emergencies for tourists.

The city hosted 5.6 million tourists, of which 1.67 million were foreigners, last year. — VNS
