HCM CITY — The French-Vietnamese Week of Architecture kicked off on May 8 in HCM City to honour the work of architects.

The event brings together local and international professional architects as well as architecture lovers to exchange ideas and discuss issues related to modern urban management.

A wide range of activities has been scheduled during the event, including an exhibition, a seminars and talks, with the participation of international renowned French architects.

The exhibition, which includes images of French architecture throughout the world, is opened to the public from May 8-13 at the University of Architecture in HCM City.

Seminars on architecture and urban planning and talks themed “Urban Mutations” will be held during the event.

The special week has been organised by the French Institute in Việt Nam in collaboration with the Academy of Architecture, independent initiative An Ordinary City, French Architects Overseas Organisation (AFEX) and Business France. —VNS
