HÀ NỘI – A book, photography and document exhibition entitled Việt Nam – The way to integrate internationally kicked off at Việt Nam Exhibition Centre for Culture & Arts yesterday.
The exhibition was organised by Ministry of Information and Communications, and it is publising information about Việt Nam’s international integration into the foreign community.
The exhibition features over 100 photographs and 100 books, providing a view on Vietnamese intergration under 3 topics: Việt Nam and the nations of ASEAN; Việt Nam on its integration with regional and international territories; and Việt Nam integrates with regional and international organisations like APEC, ASEM, WTO, and UNESCO.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, MIC’s deputy minister Hoàng Vĩnh Bảo said Việt Nam currently has diplomatic relations with over 200 nations and territories and economical relations with over 100 nations in the world.
“The exhibition is an occasion for visitors to learn more about Việt Nam’s integration with the international community and also a chance to promote the image of Vietnamese land, people and culture, achievements of the đổi mới (renewal) and its integration so that people will know the values of intergration in its present context,” he said.
The exhibition lasts until December 18. VNS
