HCM CITY—Vietnamese-American singer Thanh Tuyền’s first live show in her native land will be delayed until March in HCM City, according to the event’s organiser.

The concert, Tình Một Ngày Cũng Trăm Năm (Love of 100 Years), was originally scheduled for tonight (December 15) at the Adora Luxury Centre in Tân Bình District to celebrate her 50-year career. More than 1,000 tickets have been distributed.

Tuyền invited Việt kiều singers Thái Châu, Sơn Tuyền and Bằng Kiều, and Vietnamese singers Lệ Quyên and Hoài Lâm to perform at the event.

The organiser said Tuyền, 67, became ill after a trip to Đà Nẵng early this week. Anyone who bought a ticket will receive a refund.  — VNS
