Art programme to be held to honour three Vietnamese musicians

The tenth art programme entitled The love for Hà Nội, which is aimed at honouring three capital Red music (revolutionary music) songwriters Nguyễn Tài Tuệ, Thế Song and Ngô Quốc Tính will be held at Hà Nội Opera House on November 26.

HÀ NỘI — The tenth edition of the art programme The love for Hà Nội, which is aimed at honouring three capital revolutionary music writers Nguyễn Tài Tuệ, Thế Song and Ngô Quốc Tính will be held at the Hà Nội Opera House on November 26.

The programme is a tradition of the Hà Nội Music Association, held once a year to pay tribute to its members, who were rewarded with national and Hồ Chí Minh awards. It is also an occasion for musicians to express their gratitude to Hà Nội.

Numerous of top Vietnamese musicians and pop singers like Nguyễn Cường, Phó Đức Phương, Trương Ngọc Ninh, Ngọc Khuê, Minh Quang, Mỹ Linh, Tùng Dương, Anh Thơ, Khánh Linh have performed at the event in the past, which features a meticulously set up stage and deep artistic intentions.

The programme will feature 18 songs of three musicians, divided into three topics The Sound of the Mountain and Forest, The love for Hà Nội and Everlasting Love Songs.

Pop singers who are adored by capital audiences like Bích Việt, Khánh Hòa, Anh Thơ, Thùy Dung, Tùng Dương, Khánh Linh will bring listeners back to the past with the nostalgic melodies of The Sound of Singing in Pác Bó forest, Love by the Stream, Spring of Hà Nội and Faraway Island.   

The event will also include performances from the Việt Nam Music Dance and Song Theatre and art practice theatre of Việt Nam University of Military Arts and Culture. — VNS
