Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm City to feature cultural, artistic activities on pedestrian streets

NINH THUẬN — To promote tourism development, Ninh Thuận Province will implement a project to organise pedestrian streets with cultural and artistic activities in Phan Rang - Tháp Chàm City.

The project has a total investment capital of over VNĐ51 billion (US$2.04 million), with themes including Ninh Thuận’s identity, cultural convergence, looking forward to the future, solidarity for development, enhancing daytime activities, mass sports, and tourism night markets.

The project will include April 16, Hoàng Diệu and Trần Quang Diệu streets with 77 OCOP booths and local food.

According to Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Long Biên, the provincial People's Committee requires the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Tháp Chàm and relevant departments, branches and units to review and actively complete relevant tasks.

In particular, officials will focus on arranging the booths on pedestrian streets, create many unique cultural and artistic activities to serve people and tourists, and ensure security and order

In addition, departments, branches and the City People's Committee will ask businesses and production establishments to participate in displaying booths to feature signature and OCOP products on pedestrian streets to attract visitors.

Activities on the pedestrian street will take place from 6:00pm to 11:00pm every Friday and Saturday and on holidays.
