HCM CITY – A collection of 50 áo dài (traditional long dress) by famous designers Nguyễn Việt Hùng and Thuận Việt was displayed at the front of the HCM City Opera House in District 1 on March 5.
This event was held by HCM City Performance and Cinema Centre to celebrate the ninth HCM City Áo Dài Festival, and promote the culture of the national dress with local and foreign visitors.

It features the beauty of two versions of áo dài, traditional and modern.

There are also numerous national costume-related activities, such as "the art road" programme at Lam Sơn Park and the city Opera House front square, that display booths of famous Áo Dài designers.
The HCM City Áo Dài Festival is an annual event organised by the city's Tourism Department and the city's Vietnamese Women’s Union to honor the national dress. VNS
