HÀ NỘI — The e-commerce platform sendo.vn is launching a regular promotion programme to boost sales of agricultural products.
Starting this month, the platform will dedicate three to four days a week to agricultural products, said the Việt Nam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (IDEA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the first week of this July, the programme has introduced speciality fruit and agricultural products of various regions, including Trà Vinh R16 durian, Phan Rang green grapes, Tài Nung pear and Sơn La long mango.
These are high quality products, fully certified by food safety authorities. Consumers can go to Sendo's application or visit sendo.vn/su-kien/nong-san-sach to order products.
The goal of the programme is to help online Vietnamese farming markets and sendo.vn become a trusted address for consumers across the country, and at the same time a sustainable solution on a digital platform that contributes to the consumption of agricultural products and local specialities.
IDEA will continue to work with sendo.vn and other major e-commerce platforms to deploy programmes to consume agricultural products. — VNS
