BANGKOK — Thai Vietjet, a joint venture between Vietjet and Thai airline Kan Air, began selling 500,000 air tickets priced from as low as 50 THB (about US$1.5) on Monday to celebrate its new routes in Thailand.

The discounted fares (excluding taxes and fees) are available between noon and 2pm at and the mobile application Vietjet Air until Friday.

They will be applied to all of Thai Vietjet's 13 domestic routes in Thailand with travel period running from September 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021 (excluding public holidays).

“We are happy to bring more flights to more destinations for people to discover the 'Smiling Land' with amazing experiences. This is a good time for Thai people to have more chances to enjoy the tour and holiday in Thailand with the beloved family and friends," said Vietjet's vice president Nguyễn Thị Thuý Bình.

"We commit that we will extend more flight network in domestic Thailand and continuously give exciting experiences to our passenger with daily promotion programme," Bình said.
