HCM CITY — Saigon Co.op on Friday opened Co.opmart SCA Phạm Văn Chiêu supermarket in HCM City’s Gò Vấp District, increasing the total number of Co.opmart stores to 122 across the country.
Co.opmart SCA is the new name of France’s Auchan supermarkets, which Saigon Co.op acquired recently.
Located on the ground floor of I-Home Apartment at 359 Phạm Văn Chiêu Street in Ward 14 in Gò Vấp District, Co.opmart SCA Phạm Văn Chiêu supermarket has a modern design on over 25,000sq.m of floor space.
It sells more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes, household goods, and accessories, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Located in a crowded residential area, the supermarket will be a good place for locals to buy goods with clear origin, good quality and reasonable prices, especially during the year-end shopping season.
To mark its opening, the supermarket is offering promotions until November 24, including discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items and high reward points. — VNS
