This takes the total number of projects in the city allocated with public investment from 546 to 558 projects.

The People's Council also voted to approve the resolution regarding investment policies for some medium-term public investment projects in 2016-20 period.

The council approved investments for 18 projects, adjusted investment policies for two projects and clarified some contents for two other projects, which are the Thanh Oai District Economic Development Road Project and a technical infrastructure construction project for the Tây Nam Kim Giang 1 Urban Area.

Also at the meeting, the People's Council said farewell to several officials who are retiring, including the Head of Legal Department, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Other officials were assigned to take on new tasks, including the former commander of the Capital High Command, Chief of Office of the People's Committee, Director of the Department of Finance, and Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

New individuals were voted to replace these posts at the meeting.

Ngọc said the two resolutions would be an important legal basis for the city to use investment resources effectively, thus speeding up the completion of works to promote socio-economic development.

She also believed that city leaders who were assigned new positions would continue to take responsibility to improve the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of management, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks and resolutions of the city in 2019.
