ĐÀ NẴNG — Trungnam Land Joint Stock Company, a member of Trung Nam Group, and VV Mall – a luxurious shopping centre – have agreed to develop the first shopping-entertainment centre on the newly debuted Đà Nẵng Information Technology Park (DITP) Tower at Golden Hills urban area.

General Director of Trungnam Land Huỳnh Hải Sơn told Việt Nam News the shopping centre will cover 5,000sq.m on the 18-storey tower, opening later this year.

Sơn said the centre will serve the largest urban area in the northwest region of the city, the Đà Nẵng Information Technology Park, the Đà Nẵng Hi-tech Park as well as the development of new Liên Chiểu port and logistics centres.

He said Trungnam Land already debuted the 18-storey tower with total investment of VNĐ300 billion (US$13 million), offering 18,000sq.m space for office, shopping and a convention centre.

The Golden Hills was designed as a key urban area for 5,000 people in connection with the Liên Chiểu port and logistics centre, the North-South Expressway and railway system, and Đà Nẵng Hi-tech Park and industrial zones.

Deputy Director of the city’s Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) Huỳnh Thị Liên Phương said Đà Nẵng has called for investment of the first international standard downtown duty-free zone and factory outlet centre in the urban area in the future.

In 2018, Đà Nẵng’s retail and service industry earned revenue of $2.3 billion – 15.3 per cent year-on-year growth.
