HCM CITY The VietFood, Beverage and Professional Packing Machines international exhibition will be held in HCM City next month.

It will see 550 businesses from 20 countries and territories exhibiting products and services related to processed foods, farm produce, beverages, nutritional foods, raw materials, food additives, packaged confectionery, equipment and machinery for producing and packaging food, food preservation, and franchising.

There will be stalls displaying organic and natural foods produced by local and foreign businesses.

The annual expo will have eight national pavilions from India, Poland, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, China and Việt Nam. 

A number of promotions, including business networking, seminars and visits to industrial parks in HCM City, will be organised. 

The event, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from August 7 to 10, will be organised by the Việt Nam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (Vinexad) in collaboration with the HCM City Food and Foodstuff Association and the Việt Nam Beer Alcohol Beverage Association.

It is expected to attract 18,000 importers, distributors, manufacturers, supermarkets, retailers, hotels and restaurants. VNS
