HÀ NỘI — The Better Choice Awards 2025 Gala took place on the evening of October 3 in Hà Nội, celebrating outstanding products, services and innovative solutions that served consumers over the past year.
This year, the programme featured four categories: the Innovative Choice Awards, Consumer Finance Awards, Smart Choice Awards and Car Choice Awards. Each category honoured pioneering efforts across technology, finance, health, education, transport and green mobility.
The event was part of National Innovation Day 2025 and hosted by the National Innovation Centre (NIC) and VCCorp. It reflected close cooperation between the State and enterprises in building a comprehensive innovation ecosystem.
In the Innovative Choice Awards, Do Green’s waste gasification technology won the Green Technology and Sustainable Energy Award.
Long Châu’s Digital Health Record was recognised for digital healthcare, becoming the first pharmacy chain in Việt Nam to integrate VNeID.
Ride-hailing app BE received honours for digital transport, while The Forum Education’s AI-powered University Lecture Online won for digital education.
Samsung Galaxy AI was named a pioneering AI brand for Vietnamese users. Cake by VPBank took the award for a homegrown AI-powered digital banking platform.
The Top 5 Innovative Solutions category included Do Green, UAV CT Group, Nganhang.com, LocaAI and Ben Food.
Do Green emerged as the champion with 6,599 points and 5,920 votes. Its technology can process unsorted waste, turning all inputs into useful Syngas and Biochar. The firm owns a national patent, contributing to Việt Nam’s Net-Zero 2050 target. UAV CT Group also impressed with drone technology applied in 16 fields, aiming for 80–95 per cent localisation by 2025.
The new Consumer Finance Awards created strong attention. ACB won the Creative Credit Award for its preferential loans for young customers.
KienlongBank’s MyShop & Paybox took the award for digital payments, helping small businesses go cashless.
Cake by VPBank again stood out in AI digital banking. Vikki Digital Bank and HDBank were also recognised for innovative services and ecosystems.
In the Smart Choice Awards, AI-powered platforms took centre stage. AI Hay social network won Trend-Setting Technology Product of the year.
Galaxy AI was honoured for Vietnamese language AI, developed by local engineers at Samsung R&D Vietnam. Other winners included Galaxy Watch8 for healthcare innovation, Galaxy Z Fold7 for design, and Samsung AI TV for home entertainment.
Car Choice Awards 2025 highlighted the rise of electric and green vehicles.
VinFast VF 3 won both GenZ Car of the Year and Market Leader. VinFast VF5 HERIO GREEN was named Service Car of the Year.
Honda CR-V e:HEV RS took Hybrid Car of the Year, while other awards went to international brands including Honda, Mazda, Kia, Volkswagen, Lynk & Co and Skoda.

Vũ Quốc Huy, director of the National Innovation Centre, said: “The Better Choice Awards this year carry the spirit of Vươn mình bứt phá — the innovations recognised today will shape better values for tomorrow.
“It is not only about honouring creative products and solutions but also about inspiring enterprises and individuals who dare to think, dare to do and dare to break old limits.”
He added that the awards show Việt Nam’s determination to embrace digital transformation, green growth and science-based development, building confidence for the nation’s future on the world stage. — BIZHUB/VNS
