HÀ NỘI — Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Shinhan Life Vietnam) has been honoured as the leading insurance company in health and wellness in the Top 30 Outstanding Foreign Invested Enterprises (FIEs) in 2024-25 at the 24th Golden Dragon Awards ceremony on April 23.

The Golden Dragon Awards is the largest annual event organised by the Tạp chí Kinh tế Việt Nam ( VnEconomy and Vietnam Economic Times) in cooperation with ministries, sectors and relevant agencies, to recognise FIEs in Việt Nam.

Over the past 20 years, the awards have accompanied the business community, praising FIEs that operate effectively and post impressive achievements in production and actively contribute to the development of the locality where they operate, alongside the national economy.

The hosts conducted a survey and selected a winner based on five main criteria, including business results, brand building, development and protection, corporate responsibility, green and sustainable business development and application of digital transformation in business activities and operational efficiency.

2025 marks the second consecutive year that Shinhan Life Vietnam has been honoured in the Golden Dragon Awards. This is the recognition of the company’s efforts in its sustainable development journey, constantly improving product and service quality to accompany and provide customers with a comprehensive and suitable financial protection solution.

“Throughout 2024, Shinhan Life Vietnam continued to focus on enhancing its infrastructure, strengthening the training of staff and agents, and preparing for a phase of accelerated growth in the near future.

"In addition to accompanying and providing customers with quality financial protection solutions, we focus on building a friendly and professional working environment, promoting CSR activities, community initiatives and joining hands to actively contribute to the common development of the economy and society," said General Director of Shinhan Life Vietnam, Bae Seung Jun.

According to its 2024 Financial Report, Shinhan Life Vietnam recorded total revenues of VNĐ402 billion, (US$ 15.4 million) with net revenue from insurance business operation amounting to VNĐ256 billion, reflecting a 19 per cent growth compared to the previous year, and a solvency margin at the high level of 4,496 per cent.

Officially operating in Việt Nam since January 2022, Shinhan Life Vietnam offers life insurance, health insurance and financial investment and has a charter capital of VNĐ2.3 trillion. — VNS
