HÀ NỘI — FPT Corporation has set ambitious targets of 20 per cent growth in revenues and 21 per cent in pre-tax profits for this year with the company also reaffirming its commitment to the strategy of 'AI selling green cars'.
The target was set at 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in Hà Nội on Tuesday afternoon.
The corporation set out its business plan for this year, which, along with the the profit utilisation plan for 2024 and the dividend policy for 2025, was approved.
At the meeting, director general of FPT, Nguyễn Văn Khoa acknowledged the challenges posed by global uncertainties, but emphasised the company's proactive approach, having prepared three scenarios to adapt to fluctuations.
The AGM also approved a 20 per cent cash dividend based on 2024 profits, with 10 per cent paid in 2024, 10 per cent expected in Q2 2025 and a 15 percent share dividend, where shareholders will receive three new shares for every 20 held.
FPT has also set specific goals for its business segments. It targets a 26 per cent revenue increase and 27.2 per cent pre-tax profit growth. The corporation aims to integrate AI into all services and products to solidify its position as a leading AI and Cloud infrastructure provider in the region.
The corporation will strongly participate in Government projects and support businesses amid current challenges. It will also engage in significant contracts worth hundreds of millions with major clients, enhancing consulting and technological capabilities.

FPT’s CEO Trương Gia Bình highlighted the increasing demand for AI, with plans to develop specialised AI models for various industries.
It aims to develop the 'AI assistant' platform to enhance productivity and create one million virtual assistants to support daily operations and integrate AI into all products and services to enhance user convenience and efficiency.
FPT is committed to growing its semiconductor workforce to 10,000 engineers by 2030 and deepening its involvement in the global supply chain. In terms of electric vehicles, the focus will be on developing smart operating systems that use AI to improve driving experiences and safety.
