Adherence to the EU sustainability regulations would strengthen Việt Nam’s existing trade relations with the bloc and offer new development opportunities for the country, a forum heard in HCM City on November 27.

Việt Nam called on Chinese authorities to set a transition period for spiny lobsters imported into China, and expand the list of border gates between China and Việt Nam that are allowed to import agricultural and aquatic products, and food.
