HÀ NỘI — Director of Bắc Giang Department of Industry and Trade Trần Quang Tấn said the province will focus on overcoming limitations and promoting trade and service development in the area.
Bắc Giang strives that by 2025, total retail sales of goods and service revenue will reach VNĐ53.5 trillion (calculated at actual prices), and the average growth rate (period 2021 - 2025) will be 12 per cent per year. Export value is expected to reach nearly US$38.9 billion; import value is anticipated to reach over US$35.4 billion.

The People's Committee of Bắc Giang province intends to arrange the development of a general commercial service area, a focal point for the circulation of goods and products concentrated in Bắc Giang city and the district's central urban areas, as well as gateway areas for transportation on main commercial corridors and some concentrated areas of industrial parks and industrial clusters in the area.
The province will continue to innovate trade promotion activities, strengthen connections between manufacturers and consumers, and support information, promotion, product introduction, and market expansion. The province also organises activities to improve production, business capacity, and competitiveness for businesses and guides them to access and take advantage of bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements that Việt Nam is a member of.
Businesses will be regularly provided with market information, export and import policy mechanisms of countries, trade remedies, barriers, tariff policies, and regulations from functional units. Thanks to that, businesses have proactive production plans and activities appropriate to each market. VNS
