Four first-class hotels and resorts of the Sun Hospitality Group were winners in Asia’s Best Awards 2022 – the award of the world’s leading luxury travel magazine Travel + Leisure.

Asia’s Best Awards - a new award for the Asia region of the world’s leading luxury travel magazine Travel + Leisure - has just announced the list of the region’s top destinations, entertainment and activities. Four high-class hotels and resorts of Sun Hospitality Group were honoured.

In the “Best City Hotels in Vietnam” category, Capella Hanoi Hotel - the newest hotel of Sun Hospitality Group, was honoured along with other famous names such as Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and InterContinental Saigon.

Assessed as a “rising star,” Capella Hanoi Hotel, despite being just launched in April last year, has received many prestigious awards. The hotel was recently announced as the only representative of Việt Nam and Southeast Asia in the “The world’s top 100 best new hotels” by Travel + Leisure’s IT 2022 list.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is likened to an art masterpiece

The category “Best Beach/Upcountry Resort in Vietnam” named InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort as the No. 1. The project constructed by Sun Group and the world’s famous architect Bill Bensley has been likened to a masterpiece of art, driving the Da Nang destination onto the global luxury resort map, with a series of prestigious international awards.

The second position belongs to a “well-known” product of Sun Group, cooperating with Bill Bensley is JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa - a resort with unique architecture and classy services, an ideal destination for sumptuous experiences.

Another first-class resort in Phu Quoc, Fusion Resort Phu Quoc, also entered this list at No. 9. The resort was built on the idea of providing a perfect vacation for visitors, with an architectural style that is the ideal combination of the traditional simplicity of a very Vietnamese space and the delicate luxury of Europe.

In the “Best Hotel Pools in Vietnam” category, the two leading resorts continued to be honoured but in opposite positions. JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, with its famous scallop swimming pool, won the highest number of votes from worldwide readers of the magazine.

Meanwhile, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort held second place. Fusion Resort Phu Quoc stayed on the list in 6th position.
