HCM CITY — Lazada Elogistics Vietnam (LEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with VNPost for delivery of its products.

Online shopping platform Lazada, which owns the company, said VNPost has been its strategic partner in Việt Nam since 2012, when it began operation.

VNPost was among its first last-mile-service providers and a trusted partner in large sales campaigns when volumes would spike, it said.

VNPost has an extensive network covering all 63 provinces and cities and 18,000 employees.

Chu Quang Hào, general director of the Vietnam Post Office Corporation, said VNPost is an important link in the e-commerce eco-system.

VNPost offers Lazada’s customers a variety of shipping alternatives like first-mile, last-mile with economy, standard delivery services and pick-up of returned goods.

Commenting on the long-term partnership with VNPost, Fabian Wandt, Lazada Elogistics Vietnam CEO, said: “VNPost has been one of Lazada’s top delivery partners in the last six years. VNPost has satisfied our tough requirements of quality and customer trust.

“The long-term co-operation between the companies will enhance Lazada’s geographical reach and trustworthiness.” — VNS
