HCM CITY — Career network CareerViet organised an event in HCM City on Friday to announce the top 100 enterprises awarded the "Employer of Choice 2023" title.

"Employer of Choice 2023" is a non-profit online survey launched at the end of November 11 and ending on January 9, 2024.

More than 39,000 people of different ages and professions nationwide participated in answering and voting in the survey.

The results show that Việt Nam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) leads the group of 100 enterprises voted as the most popular enterprise in 2023.

Market research company Amco Vietnam has supported the methodology to ensure transparency and reliability of the survey results.

General Director of CareerViet, Bùi Ngọc Quốc Hưng, said the "Employer of Choice 2023" programme sought to find and honour the most popular employer.

The event is an opportunity for businesses to share their commitment to social responsibility for human resources, thereby creating a positive impact on the market.

Trần Liên Phương, deputy general director of Amco Vietnam, said there were many interesting things and issues that popped up through the survey.

Besides the factors of success in business and the working environment, workers want to see positive contributions by businesses in the community and society. Surveys also show that over time, people's satisfaction with their jobs declines.

Employees are also interested in business acumen, promotion opportunities, salaries, and bonuses. It is also impressive when businesses actively contribute to social activities. —VNS
