HCM CITY — Famous Vietnamese fashion designer Đỗ Mạnh Cường will hold a “Mix & Match” fashion show in HCM City’s District 7, with participation of 100 models, on Thursday (December 27).

This collection consists of 100 pieces, divided into three themes.

Cường will mix and match his own designs with fashion items from global luxury brands like Hermes, Dior, Chanel and Gucci, among others.

“I want to inspire women to be their own stylist,” Cường said, adding that his suggestions would help women save money.

About 500 guests, who will be wearing pink and black to the event, have been invited.

Đỗ Mạnh Cường, who was born in 1981, studied at the University of Industrial Fine Arts in Hà Nội and pursued a fashion degree in France.

He is the only fashion designer in Việt Nam to organise two fashion shows every year for the past few years.

Some of his famous shows have included The Muse, Le Jardin, Butterfly, Sea of Memory, The Twins, La Vie En Rose, Love, Countryside, The Little Black Dress and Life in Color. — VNS
