HÀ NỘI — Following the Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF)'s request, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has changed the competition schedule for both Vietnamese clubs in the AFC Cup 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Earlier, the AFC was informed by the VFF that the Vietnamese Government will not be allowing the hosting of any sporting event in the country in February because of the epidemic, meaning HCM City FC and Than Quảng Ninh will see matches moved.

The first match between HCM City FC and Yangon United FC is now set to take place on February 11 at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar, as opposed to Thống Nhất Stadium in HCM City.

Therefore, the second match will be played at Thống Nhất Stadium on April 29.

In addition, the first match between Quang Ninh Coal FC and Ceres Negros FC will now be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila on February 25 rather than Cẩm Phả Stadium.

The second match will be played at Cẩm Phả Stadium on May 13. — VNS
