Part of the annual charity programme Mùa Xuân Cho Em (Spring for Children), the tournament will be run by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC), the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Vietnam Football Federation.
The tournament is expected to feature 60 teams, said MoLISA Deputy Minister Nguyễn Thị Hà.
The 12th edition of Mùa Xuân Cho Em will be held on January 6, announced NFVC Director Hoàng Văn Tiến.

After 11 years, the programme has raised hundreds of billions of đồng to support needy children across the country.
