HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s veteran volleyball player Phạm Kim Huệ will return to play for Vietinbank in the PetroVietnam - Cà Mau Fertiliser Cup 2018, said one of the organisers.
During 2018, Huệ joined the training panel of Vietinbank and U19 Việt Nam volleyball team as deputy coach.
Previously, she retired after playing 13 years for national volleyball team after the 2013 VTV Cup. However, as an outstanding player of Vietinbank, she was called back to the team for the Asian Women’s Volleyball Cup 2016.
Since then, she has played with national team in many tournaments and the SEA Games 29 in Kuala Lumpur in August 2017.
Veteran player Hà Thị Hoa will also return to the tournament.
The event will be held from October 31 to November 4 at Đắk Nông Province Gymnasium with eight teams.
Men’s teams include Sanest Khánh Hoà, Thể Công, Tràng An Ninh Bình and Long An, while the women’s teams are VTV Bình Điền Long An, Ngân hàng Công thương, Thông Tin Lienvietpostbank and Mikado Thái Bình.
First prize is US$4,200, second prize is $2,000 and third prize is $1,200.
Tickets cost from VNĐ50,000 to 70,000. All matches will be broadcast live on VTVCab channels. — VNS
