HÀ NỘI — Players from HCM City have triumphed at the National Table Tennis Championship held in the Central Hilands province of Đắk Lắk.
HCM City’s Lê Đình Duy and Mai Hoàng Mỹ Trang on Monday won the mixed doubles category after beating Đinh Quang Linh and Vũ Thị Hà of the Military team 3-1 in the final.
This is the third time in row Duy – Trang have won in this category at the national championship.
In the women’s doubles, HCM City’s Trang and Nguyễn Bạch Thanh Thư continued to prove their power following their 3-0 win against Lương Thị Tám and Hà of the Military team in the final.
In the men’s doubles, Phan Huy Hoàng and Tạ Hồng Khánh of T&T bested Lê Đình Duy and Đặng Trần Phú of HCM City to take the gold medal.
The five-day event attracted more than 100 players from 10 of the best teams across the country including Hà Nội, Tiền Giang and Tây Ninh.
It was co-organised by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Việt Nam Table Tennis Federation. — VNS
