HÀ NỘI — Đoàn Trường Lợi of Phú Yên triumphed in the professional category of the National Motor Racing Championship, which concluded in the southern province of Cần Thơ on Monday.
Đặng Tuấn Anh of the 306 racing team finished second.
In the amateur event, Phạm Duy Tơn of HCM City took the title, followed by Tơn’s teammates Đoàn Quốc Huy and Nguyễn Thành Lộc.
The tournament attracted the participation of more than 50 racers from several provinces across the country, such as An Giang, Đồng Tháp, Vĩnh Long and Cần Thơ.
The event, which is co-ordinated by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Việt Nam Cycling and Motor Sport Federation, attracted thousands of supporters. — VNS
