HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s coach Park Hang-seo yesterday afternoon announced a squad of 27 U23 players to compete at the M-150 international friendly tournament in Thailand from December 9-15.
The South Korean coach selected goalkeepers Đặng Ngọc Tuấn of SHB Đà Nẵng and Bùi Tiến Dũng of FLC Thanh Hóa.
Park named other top players such as Nguyễn Quang Hải and Đoàn Văn Hậu of Hà Nội, Hà Đức Chinh and Bùi Tiến Dụng of SHB Đà Nẵng, and Bùi Tiến Dũng of Viettel.
The coach also added two players who performed well at the ongoing National U21 Football Championship, namely Nguyễn Trọng Đại of Viettel and Phạm Xuân Mạnh of Sông Lam Nghệ An.
Today, the team will leave for the event, in which Việt Nam are in Group B with U23 Myanmar and U23 Uzbekistan.
The Việt Nam Satellite Digital Television VSTV (K+) will broadcast all the tournament matches.
The event is a warm up for Việt Nam to prepare for the final round of the 2018 Asian Football Federation U23 Championship. — VNS
