Việt Nam are in Group B with Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines and the hosts, while Group A includes Thailand, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia and Laos.
Việt Nam will play their first match against Brunei on September 7.
“I respect all the rivals in the group round in particular and rivals in the tournament in general. However, Việt Nam will try thier best in each game and try to enter the final match and take the title,” Tuấn said at the press conference in Myanmar yesterday.
Tuấn also said that he hopes the event will give his young players a chance to gain experience.
