HÀ NỘI — Đỗ Tuấn Đức and Phạm Như Thảo beat Sam Magee and Chloe Magee 22-20, 18-21, 21-17 to enter the quarterfinals of the Yonex Canada Open badminton tournament on Friday.
The defending champions needed 72 minutes to overcome the No 4 seed pair of Ireland.
The pair, who are the last Vietnamese left at the Alberta competition, will play qualifiers Kohei Gondo and Wakana Nagahara from Japan.
