Việt Nam grab second win at VTV Cup

Việt Nam earned its second win at the VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup yesterday in Hà Nam Province.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam earned its second win at the VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup yesterday in Hà Nam Province.

The hosts easily trounced Chinzei Gakuin High School from Nagasaki – Japan 25-18, 25-12, 25-23 in their second game.

In the first match on Saturday, Việt Nam won 25-12, 25-7, 25-21 over Chinese Tangzhang Middle School.

In the next match today, the Vietnamese will play Indonesia.

In other matches yesterday, Thailand’s Supreme Chonburi won 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 over Indonesia, while China’s U17 team beat Tangzhang Middle School 25-15, 25-29, 25-13.

Six teams are competing in the annual event, with the winners walking away with a prize of US$10,000. — VNS
