Malaysia, Laos and Thailand join VTV International Cycling Tournament

Three international teams from Malaysia, Laos and Thailand will join in the 2016 VTV International Cycling Tournament for the Tôn Hoa Sen Cup in the middle of this month.

HCM CITY – A team each from Malaysia, Laos and Thailand will take part in the 2016 VTV International Cycling Tournament for the Tôn Hoa Sen Cup later this month.

Their participation promises to make the event more competitive.

They will be up against 13 teams from Việt Nam.

The tour will start in the central city of Đà Nẵng on August 24 and end in Hà Nội on September 2, Independence Day.

The cyclists will ride the distance of 1,300km in 10 stages, going through Thừa Thiên – Huế, Quảng Bình, Nghệ An, Thanh Hoá, Nam Định, and Hải Phòng before finishing in the capital.

The event is organised by Việt Nam Television, the Việt Nam Cycling and Sport Motors Federation and Hoa Sen Group. — VNS
