HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese pair Đỗ Đức Tuấn and Phạm Như Thảo entered the quarter-finals of the Yonex Canada Open in Calgary on June 30.

They defeated Nathan Osborne and Josephine Wu of the hosts 21-19, 21-8 in a 24-minute match.

The pair, who are the last Vietnamese still competing in the tournament, will next play Andrei Adistia and Brittney Tam, a mixed pair from Indonesia and Canada.

Earlier, Duo Minh Bảo and Dương Bảo Đức of Việt Nam were sent home after losing 12-21, 17-21 to Ted Chen and Liao Chao Hsiang from Canada and Chinese Taipei.
