HÀ NỘI — Liên Việt Postbank defeated Vietinbank 25-18, 20-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-7 to win the Military Volleyball Open tournament’s women’s side on June 28 in Hà Nội.
It was sweet revenge for the winners after they lost 0-3 to Vietinbank in the group round.
On the men’s side, Military Corp 4 came from behind to beat Tràng An Ninh Bình 21-25, 22-25 và 20-25 for the bronze medal in an earlier match.
The tournament will wrap-up with the men’s final between Biên Phòng and Thể Công and women’s third-place play-off between PVD Thái Bình and Tiến Nông Thanh Hóa at the Biên Phòng Gymnasium. — VNS
