HÀ NỘI — The Police took former champions Military 1’s crown at the National Tennis Team Championship yesterday in Đắk Nông Province.

Ngô Đức Dương defeated Trần Hoàng Anh Khoa 7-5, 7-5 in the first singles match.

His teammate Hoàng Thành Trung then thrashed Lê Công Tiễn 6-1, 6-2 in the later game.

HCM City 1 and Military 2 shared third place.

On Sunday, HCM City 1 overcame HCM City 2 to take the women’s title.

Đà Nẵng and Kiên Giang 1 claimed bronze medals. — VNS
