Senior golfers set to tee off in Huế city

The National Golf Championship for Seniors will kick off at Thừa Thiên-Huế Province’s Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Course on April 30.

HÀ NỘI — The National Golf Championship for Seniors will kick off at Thừa Thiên-Huế Province’s Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Course on April 30.

Nearly 120 golfers have registered for the tournament. They have been divided into two categories; one for 50-59 year olds and one for those 60 years old and above.

The golfers will compete in a two-round 18-hole format tournament.

The event is one of the annual activities of the Việt Nam Golf Association.

The winners will walk away with VNĐ15 million (US$670).

Last year, Andrew Hùng Phạm took the top prize in the 50-59 years old class and Bùi Huy Hoàng triumphed in the over 60 category. — VNS
