HẢI PHÒNG -- The third stage of the Vietnam Golf Association Junior Tour will be organised on April 20-21 at the Vinpearl Golf Hải Phòng.

Nearly 90 players will tee off in nine categories for boys and girls and age groups ranging from U8 to U18.

Competitors in the U15 boys and U18 boys and girls will compete in three 18-hole with no short cut. The rest will play in two rounds of 38 holes.

High-ranking golfers will earn points to have their name in the world amateur ranking.

According to organisers, the tournament will help nurture junior players' professional dreams while sharpen their skills before they jump to compete in the national competitions.

The VGA also hoped to find more golf talents for the national teams.

Đoàn Uy, 17, won the first stage here last month. Nguyễn Tuấn Anh took the cup of the second stage early this month in Long An Province. VNS
