He also revealed that an international seven-a-side event will be organised soon after the VSC-S2.

The best players from the VSC-S2 and those from the National Championship VPL-S3 will be core of TeamViệt Nam.

The three invited teams are from Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

More information will be announced soon.

"The strong development of seven-man football recently makes me strongly believe that it would be an official tournament in the national competition system," Ngọc said. "We hope that it will be named in the National Sports Games in 2026 like 11-man football, beach football and futsal." VNS
