Nine imported cases reported on New Year's Day

Nine new imported cases were reported on Friday. Three returned from Russia, five returned from Germany and one returned from Canada and transited in South Korea. All were quarantined upon arrival.

Young scientist receives 2020 Golden Globe Award

Flood-affected school students get scholarships

A total of 220 school students whose families were affected by floods and storms from Nghệ An to Quảng Ngãi Province received scholarships worth VNĐ2.2 billion (US$95,000) from the Việt Nam Central Disaster Prevention Support Fund (QPT) for continuing their education.

Three more VNU-HCM universities become autonomous

Three additional member universities of VNU-HCM universities will become autonomous next year, Dr Nguyễn Minh Tâm, the university’s vice chancellor, said at an annual meeting held on Tuesday.
