HÀ NỘI — Three new imported COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Việt Nam on Friday morning, bringing the total number to 1,210.

One of the new patients is a 38-year-old Indian man who arrived in the country on October 22 and the other two are both Vietnamese men aged 32 and 29 who came on a flight from Japan earlier this week.

All three were immediately quarantined on arrival and are currently being treated at the Khánh Hoà Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Nha Trang.

Since the first case of COVID-19 was detected in Việt Nam back in January, 1,069 have been treated and given the all-clear.

There has not been a single community infection recorded in the past two months. — VNS
