More passengers urged to come forward over COVID-19 infection fears

The Ministry of Health on Tuesday evening urged passengers on board three flights in the past two weeks to contact authorities after fellow passengers on each flight tested positive for COVID-19.

HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health on Tuesday evening urged passengers on board three flights in the past two weeks to contact authorities after fellow passengers on each flight tested positive for COVID-19.

They are Emirates Airlines’ EK 392 from Dubai to HCM City on March 12; Eva Air’s BR 395 from Taiwan to HCM City on March 16; and Thai Airways’ TG 917 from London to Bangkok on March 15, which had a connecting flight to Việt Nam.

The ministry asked all passengers on these flights to contact disease control centres in provinces and cities for guidance.

Travel agents who sold them the tickets are responsible for notifying the passengers.

The Ministry of Health's COVID-19 hotline number is 19009095.

Earlier on Monday, the Ministry of Health issued urgent notifications for passengers on board eight flights, both international and domestic. — VNS
