HÀ NỘI — Land use and management at three large State-owned corporations and groups will be inspected this year, Lê Vũ Tuấn Anh, chief inspector of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment said in a meeting in Hà Nội on Friday.
The three entities are Việt Nam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), Hà Nội Trade Corporation (Hapro) and Sài Gòn Trade Corporation.
“The General Department of Land Management will also inspect land use management and housing facility arrangement used by enterprises at Vinatex, Hapro and Saigon Trading Corporation”, Tuấn Anh said.
The inspection plan was approved by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, he said.
Under the plan, inspectors will examine the use of land and water resources for the projects, which use large amounts of lands, and entities using land of old State-owned agriculture and forestry farms in Bắc Ninh, Cà Mau, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces.
The inspections would also be carried out by 2020 in the provinces of Hà Nam, Nghệ An, Bình Dương, Tây Ninh and Hải Dương.
He also said foreign-invested projects which use seawater in the central coastal provinces of Khánh Hòa and Bình Thuận would be inspected for their slow progress.
In addition, the General Department of Land Management was assigned to inspect the implementation of State management of land in the localities in accordance with the Land Law. — VNS
