Hà Nội revokes 16 delayed projects for violating land law

Hà Nội’s Department of Construction has announced a list of 16 projects which have violated the Land Law due to excessive delays.

HÀ NỘI – Hà Nội’s Department of Construction has announced a list of 16 projects which have violated the Land Law due to excessive delays.

The projects include an office, restaurant and entertainment complex at 153 Yên Phụ Street, Tây Hồ District of the Hanoi Tourism Corporation, an office building for rent at 53E Hàng Bài Street, Hoàn Kiếm District of One Member Lottery Co.,Ltd, and Quang Trung General Hospital on Tam Trinh Street in Hoàng Mai District of the Quang Trung General Hospital Joint Stock Company.

A project of offices for lease at 19 Lê Thanh Nghị Street in Hai Bà Trưng District of Ba Đình Investment, Construction and Development JSC, and a commercial centre at Ngã Tư Sở Market in Đống Đa District of Việt Nam Asset Trading and Investment JSC were included in the list.

The 16 projects have been long delayed, and the land marked for construction has been abandoned.

The department will work with the people’s committees of various districts to re-examine and report to city authorities any revoked projects in the future.

The department also announced eight projects which have been granted investment certificates. The projects included a parking lot in Hoàng Mai District and Thanh Trì District, Saigon-Hanoi Hi-Tech Eye Hospital, Đồng Tàu urban pre-school, Bắc Cổ Nhuế Elementary School, Thiên Đức Vocational School, Trần Quang Khải Private High School and Nguyễn Tất Thành High School. – VNS
