HCM CITY— Văn Lang University has been ranked in the 1001-1200 band in the QS World University Rankings 2026, with its Academic Reputation placing at 392 worldwide.
QS World University Rankings, by the UK-based education organisation Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), evaluate universities based on factors including student experience, research activity, academic and employer reputation, and faculty qualifications.
QS is among the three leading global university ranking organisations, alongside Times Higher Education (THE) and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
The university is also recognised among the top 500 institutions in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025.
In the QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2025, the university's Performing Arts programme is ranked between 51-100, and its Art & Design programme is in the 101-150.
Furthermore, THE Impact Rankings 2025 placed Văn Lang University in the 601-800 band worldwide.
The university also has 15 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ranked in the top 101-800 worldwide.
A key highlight is its ranking for Quality Education (SDG 4), which is in the 201-300 band.
In addition to its rankings, the university received a 4-star rating from QS Stars in 2021 and was awarded the FIBAA Quality Seal in 2025, acknowledging its academic quality.
Văn Lang is a private university established in 1995, with over 100 domestic programs and 30 international programs.
It now has around 40,000 students, including nearly 3,000 international students from across Asia and Europe. – VNS
