ĐỒNG NAI PROVINCE — A cultural programme marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Coast Guard (August 28, 1998- August 28, 2023) was held by the Việt Nam Coast Guard High Command’s Reconnaissance Unit No. 2 on August 3.

The programme took place at the campus of the Reconnaissance Unit No. 2 in Phú Hữu Commune in Đồng Nai Province’s Nhơn Trạch District.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Nhân Hậu, head of the coast guard’s Reconnaissance Unit No. 2, said the programme is a very meaningful activity that promotes development of the cultural and artistic movement, contributing to improving the people's cultural and spiritual life.

“It also strengthens the solidarity and close relationship between the State units based in the province,” he said.

The programme attracted a total of 17 performances in various forms such as solo, duet, medley, music and dance, and dance.

The performances were from eight units based in the province, including the Reconnaissance Unit No. 2, Chemical Brigade 87 under the Chemical Corps, Petroleum Depot No.186 under the General Department of Logistics, the Training Centre and Technical Guarantee Centre of Naval Region 2, and the police, military and youth union of Nhơn Trạch District.

They mostly praised the great contributions of the country’s Heroes, the glorious Party and beloved former President Hồ Chí Minh, as well as promoted the homeland's achievements in the đổi mới (renewal) process.
