The 12th Việt Nam-France cooperation conference with the theme "The driving force for sustainable and comprehensive recovery and development after the COVID-19 pandemic" wrapped up successfully in Hà Nội on Saturday.

The meeting focused on assessing the city’s current socio-economic development, including post-COVID recovery and prompt, flexible and effective solutions for growth.

The visits will be made at the invitation of President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina Cecilia Moreau, and Speaker of the Senate of Uruguay Beatriz Argimon Cedeira.

The forum offered an opportunity to connect authorities of cities, investors and enterprises of the two countries, said Vice Chairman of the Hà Nội People’s Committee Nguyễn Mạnh Quyền.

“For us, for President Biden, for Washington, this is one of the most dynamic and one of the most important relationships we’ve had.  It has had a remarkable trajectory over the last couple of decades,” US State Secretary Blinken told the press.

Minister Sơn said that Việt Nam considers the US one of its leading partners and seeks to continue developing the Comprehensive Partnership on the basis of mutual benefit and mutual respect for each other's independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political systems.
