PM Chính emphasised that ties between the two countries have reached the highest level of mutual trust, with increasingly effective cooperation in multiple areas.

The strong cultural ties between the two countries and the sustainable development of the India – Việt Nam traditional relationship were highlights of the ceremony commemorating Việt Nam's National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2024).

A wide range of cultural activities will be covered, including cultural heritage preservation, performing arts promotion, visual art exhibitions, film production, cultural diplomacy, library development and education and training.

Under the theme “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience”, the meetings will be held in Vientiane with more than 20 activities. Delegates will work on about 80 documents on ASEAN’s priorities, intra-bloc cooperation, as well as collaboration between it and partners.

Both sides also aligned on major directions and measures to ensure this partnership deepens and becomes more practical, fitting the new context of Việt Nam-France cooperation.
